Responsibilities

· Coordinate Import & Export shipment – Sea Freight & Air Freight

· Liaise with liners for the quotation/ Booking confirmation / BL / NOA / INV

· Request for transport with transporters

· Follow-up on the shipping documents from customers and submit for clearance / BL preparation

· Prepare HBL if required

· Coordinate with forwarders for VGM Submission / Customs Clearance

· Update customers on the shipment status on daily basis

· Manage day-to-day shipment issue if any

· Ensure proper planning and execution of the daily operations activities in compliance with the company policies and SOPs

· To ensure accurate and timely billing – creating shipment jobs, costings, and billing using company Freight Management System

· Update vendor invoices using Freight system and generate PI for payment

· Perform other job-related duties as and when required by superior

· Practice a safe working culture, adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensure they are understood and practiced while performing any tasks on the floor.

· Ensure the housekeeping standards are maintained in line with the SOPs defined.

· Report any incident or disciplinary issues to the supervisor.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
