About the role

As an Senior HR Executive at LAKSAMANA USAHA NOODLE PRODUCTS SDN. BHD., you will be responsible for driving the human resource strategy and initiatives for the company. This is a full-time position based in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. You will play a key role in supporting the management team and ensuring the company's workforce is engaged, developed, and optimised to achieve business goals.

What you'll be doing

1. Disciplinary Action Management

Ensure strict adherence to Malaysia's Employment Act and company policies during disciplinary proceedings

Conduct due inquiry (domestic inquiry) if there is necessary

Maintain detailed records of all disciplinary actions, warnings, and outcomes

Recommend proportionate actions (verbal/written warnings, suspension, dismissal) based on offense severity and employee history

2. Work Permit Management

Administer applications, renewals, cancellations, and appeals for Work Permits, Employment Passes, Check out Memo, Special Passes and liaise with Immigration Department of Malaysia Officers

Maintain accurate records of permit statuses, expiries, and related documentation.

3. Onboarding & Offboarding

Coordinate arrival for new foreign workers, including transportation and accommodation setup.

Conduct onboarding sessions to orientate employees on company policies and Malaysia labor laws.

Manage offboarding procedures, including repatriation arrangements and exit clearances.

4. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all foreign worker documents (passports, work permit, employment contracts, etc.) are current and compliant.

Monitor and implement updates in response to changes in labor or immigration laws.

5. Accommodation & Welfare Management

Oversee worker accommodation to ensure it meets regulatory and safety standards.

Address grievances and provide support to enhance worker well-being.

Plan and execute welfare or engagement activities to foster a positive working environment.

6. Other Duties

Facilitate foreign worker FOMEMA.

Coordinate bank account opening for new arrival foreign workers and bank related matters for existing foreign workers.

Handle accident claim with involvement of government hospital, JTK and insurance company

Liaise with JTK – reporting on new arrival FW, absconded FW, termination of FW work contract.

Assist in handling and monitoring foreign workers’ hostels inspection and application for Akta 446

Foreign worker sick/injured to clinic/hospital, death case, fighting case.

Prepare and issue variour letter include IR letter such as show cause and warning letter

Perform ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by supervisors.

What we're looking for

Diploma or Degree in any field.

Possession of a valid Class D2 driving license is preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in foreign worker management or related functions, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices

Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required; fluency in an additional language such as Mandarin is an added advantage.

This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth, compliance, and supportive employment experience for foreign workers while contributing to the company’s operational efficiency
