We are currently looking for an experienced Trademark Executive to join our Trademarks team in Malaysia. The focus of the role will be:

Preparing official documents for submission to Trademark Offices up to registration (e.g., conducting trademark searches, trademark applications, formalities compliance and submission of powers of attorney, reviewing examination reports, renewals)
Coordinating filings across multiple jurisdictions
Monitoring and tracking crucial deadlines
Preparing agents/clients correspondence and invoices
Filing of documents through Electronic Filing System
Performing general administrative duties, maintaining internal records


The key requirements for this role will include:

Bachelor’s degree in law and its equivalent
Preferably 3 - 5 years’ relevant Trademark work experience in a similar role including experience using IP2SGm (preferred). Experience in a legal secretary/administrative role would also be considered.
PC literate in MS Office with good word processing skills
Must be a good team player and be willing to work extra hours if required.
Able to work independently, under pressure and deal tactfully with people at all levels.
Good time management and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and deal with high volumes of work
Strong attention to detail and the ability to be flexible.
Ability to communicate fluently in English (both written & spoken)
