JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, implement and maintain websites using WordPress.

Work closely with backend developers and design team.

Optimise websites for speed, reliability, and scalability.

Troubleshooting content issues and monitoring the performance of the live website.

Ensure the Wordpress website and plugin is up to date and thus safe from cyber attack.

Consistently report work’s progress and issues, and propose initiatives and solutions to improve on existing projects.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in order to apply them to projects.



JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology or equivalent.

At least one-year experience in CSS3 and Javascript framework such as Bootstrap.

Must have a good knowledge of PHP, MYSQL and basic web technologies (HTML5, Javascript ,CSS3, jQuery, etc).

Must have experience in using PHP MVC framework, preferably Laravel.

Know about some basics of SEO best practices.

Adequate knowledge of web security (eg: session management, XSS attack etc) and best development practices.

Experience using debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome Inspector.

Have fundamentals of user interface design (i.e. Interacon design, user experience design, and usability).

Engage in standby duty on a rotating weekly schedule, remaining accessible for support during non-business hours.
