Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills required: Carry Goods, Stock Tracking, Recording, Inventory Control, Stock Count, Allocating Storage Space, Use Computerized Systems, Quality Control on Goods
Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse environment is often preferred but may not always be required, especially for entry-level positions.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Organizational Skills: Must be able to organize inventory and maintain accurate records.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in counting and inspecting goods is crucial to prevent errors.
Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment, often collaborating with other warehouse staff and supervisors.
Communication Skills: Basic verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with coworkers and possibly with delivery personnel.
Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with inventory software or the ability to learn such systems quickly.
Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them to maintain a safe working environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to perform various tasks as needed, including packing, unpacking, labeling, and other duties related to warehouse operations.
Responsibilities

Receive and Process Incoming Shipments:

Receive shipments and verify the contents against packing lists or invoices.
Unload trucks and inspect goods for defects or damages.
Record received goods in the inventory system and update records accordingly.
Organize and Maintain Inventory:

Arrange received inventory in designated storage areas.
Ensure proper labeling and shelving of goods.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Prepare Outgoing Shipments:

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
Verify order accuracy and completeness before shipping.
Label packages appropriately and arrange for carrier pick-ups or deliveries.
Maintain Cleanliness and Safety Standards:

Keep warehouse clean and organized.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Assist with Inventory Control:

Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Rotate stock and dispose of overstock or expired items.
Coordinate with Other Departments:

Communicate effectively with purchasing, sales, and customer service departments.
Handle inquiries and requests from other departments related to inventory or shipments.
Document and Report:

Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts and shipments.
Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
Adhere to Policies and Procedures:

Follow company policies and procedures regarding inventory management, safety, and operations.
Suggest improvements to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Customer Service:

Assist in fulfilling customer orders and resolving any issues related to shipments or inventory.
Ensure high standards of customer service and responsiveness.
