Responsibilities

To deal with international student agents regarding student query, application and admission.

To ensure institution’s compliance with related agencies’ standards (e.g., Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), Immigration Department of Malaysia.

To communicate about changes and updates in policy to the relevant stakeholders as well as ensuring compliance with Malaysia regulatory frameworks.

To prepare and submit reports and documentation as required by respective agencies for licenses (MOHE, EMGS, Immigration).

To handle student pass application: New / Progression / Variation / Transfer Student Visa Application/ Renewal.

To handle international student’s airport clearance and pick-up.

To handle international student recruitment approval related processes and application.

To maintain report on international students’ status.

Passport control – on student submission and release processes.

Requirements

Have experience in dealing with international student agents.

Have good knowledge and understanding of Malaysian regulatory frameworks (MOHE, EMGS, Immigration Department).

Have a general understanding of IPTS processes and international student's recruitment.

Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Demonstrate an interpersonal skill with an ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently with general direction.

Demonstrate a good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people in a clear and professional manner, with cross-cultural sensitivity.

Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
