Role Overview: As a Trade Marketing Executive specializing in promoters and roadshows, your primary responsibility is to drive consumer engagement and increase sales by orchestrating effective promotional activities in various locations, such as malls, events, and roadshows. You'll be in charge of managing a team of promoters, coordinating logistics for roadshows, and ensuring seamless execution of activation campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive product trial.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
• Work closely with promoter agency in recruit, train, and supervise a team of promoters to represent the brand effectively.
• Ensure promoter agency provide ongoing coaching and support to promoters, ensuring they possess in-depth product knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Work closely with promoter agency in schedule and allocate resources efficiently to cover multiple locations and events.
Promotional Planning:
• Develop comprehensive plans for roadshows and promotional events, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with trade marketing and sales teams to align promotional activities with overall brand objectives and product strategies.
• Identify target locations and events based on consumer demographics and market research.
Logistics Coordination:
• Arrange logistics for roadshows, including transportation, setup, and teardown of promotional booths or displays.
• Ensure all necessary promotional materials, samples, and equipment are prepared and delivered to event locations on time.
• Coordinate with promoter agency and retailers/event organizers to secure permits, permissions, and necessary facilities for promotional activities.
On-Site Management:
• Oversee the setup and operation of promotional booths or activations at roadshow venues, ensuring they are attractive, engaging, and compliant with brand guidelines.
• Supervise promoters during events, providing guidance on interacting with consumers, conducting product demonstrations, and collecting feedback.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise during events promptly and effectively.
Performance Tracking:
• Monitor the performance of promotional activities, including foot traffic, sales conversions, and consumer feedback.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of different promotional strategies and tactics.
• Prepare detailed reports and insights to share with management, highlighting key learnings and recommendations for improvement.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all promotional activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and brand guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and professionalism among promoters, reflecting positively on the brand.
Relationship Management:
• Build strong relationships with external partners like promoter agency, posm agency, event set up agency, designers, and others to facilitate smooth collaboration and maximize promotional opportunities.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, including trade marketing, sales, and marketing teams, to communicate feedback and insights from promotional activities.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in trade marketing, event coordination, or a similar promotional/activation role.
Experience managing promoters or field teams and coordinating with third-party agencies is highly preferred.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Comfortable with hands-on event management and occasional travel for activations.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is an advantage.
