Your Role:
As a Material Development Specialist, you involves leading supplier sourcing and onboarding, negotiating business terms, and driving cost optimization through proactive material configuration solutions.

Job Description:

Leading the sourcing and onboarding of suppliers, negotiating business terms

Proactively providing material configuration iterations and cost optimization solutions to stakeholders, creating value-added services

Integrated development and procurement of brand-new equipment; responsible for the full-cycle alignment of development and procurement orders, and recording supplier exceptions

Responsible for establishing standard procedures and maintaining the knowledge base

Responsible for mentoring and training overseas material module teams

Requirements:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally within the retail, FMCG, or consumer goods industries.

Professional ability: Have rich supplier resources, have the ability to develop and manage supplier, familiar with dynamic cost management system; familiar with the entire procurement process, and have delivery management, quality control, and inventory management capabilities

Skill requirements: Proficient in Office software operations, master common functions/formulas and data tools

Have strong communication and negotiation, target decomposition, communication and coordination skills and teamwork spirit

Communicative expression, English proficiency is preferred.
