Requirements

Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia
High school Diploma or GED (minimum)
Diploma or Degree in food technology, bakery science, food production (preferred)
Certifications in food safety (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000) are often advantageous
Strong understanding of bakery production processes and ingredients
Leadership and team management skills
Maintain high standards of customer service
Good organizational and time management abilities
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to meet production deadlines and targets
Schedule staff shifts & train and mentor new staff
Resolve customer complaints
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Ability to motivate and lead a team & good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Ability to manage stock and ordering
Hands-on experience with baking equipment
Basic computer skills (MS Office, production planning software, ERP systems)

Responsibilities

Production Supervision:

Oversee the daily operations of the baking production line
Schedule employees and assign tasks, ensuring efficient workflow
Monitor production output, yield, and efficiency
Ensure proper use and maintenance of baking equipment
Quality and Safety:

Ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements
Adhere to food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP)
Conduct or oversee quality checks during the production process
Enforce hygiene and sanitation standards throughout the production area
Employee Supervision and Training:

Train new employees on baking processes, machinery, and safety procedures
Motivate team members and monitor performance
Handle shift changes, absences, and resolve conflicts as needed
