Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Warmly greet guests, present menus, answer questions about the menu, take orders accurately, and ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery
Order Management: Communicate orders to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring accuracy and special requests are noted.
Table Maintenance: Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses, and maintain a tidy dining area throughout service.
Payment Processing: Present bills to guests and process payments (cash, credit cards, etc.).
Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and efficiently, escalating issues when necessary.
Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service, and assist with training new staff.
Health and Safety: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including food handling and hygiene standards.
Upselling: Suggest additional menu items, such as appetizers, desserts, or drinks, to enhance the dining experience and potentially increase sales.
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure tables, dining areas, and service stations are clean and organized.
Inventory Management: May be responsible for maintaining supplies in the service area, such as linens, silverware, and condiments.
