Qualifications
-1-2 years or more experience in related job
-Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred.
-Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-Team player with good communication and a positive attitude.
-Willingness to work flexible hours & long hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job responsibilities
Food Preparation:
-Prepare ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes.
-Assist in cooking and plating dishes as directed by the chef or supervisor.
-Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.

Cleanliness & Hygiene:
-Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
-Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, local health regulations).
-Properly store food items and ensure correct labeling and rotation (FIFO).

Teamwork & Communication:
-Support fellow kitchen and service team members during busy hours.
-Communicate effectively with chefs and front-of-house teams.
-Assist in training new team members when required.

Stock & Equipment:
-Monitor ingredient levels and inform supervisor for replenishment.
-Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
-Report maintenance or equipment issues promptly.
