Job Description

Qualifications
-Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in the F&B industry, preferably in a similar supervisory or managerial role.
-Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing both service and kitchen operations.
-Able to communicate in Mandarin
-Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen best practices.
-Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
-Experience in Taiwanese or Asian cuisine will be an added advantage.

Job responsibilities
-Operational Support: Assist the Restaurant Manager in running daily operations, ensuring smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
-Team Guidance & Mentoring: Provide hands-on support to staff, helping them follow procedures and develop their skills.
-Staff Scheduling Assistance: Help with shift planning and roster management to maintain proper coverage.
-Customer Experience Support: Ensure customers have a positive dining experience and handle minor feedback or service issues.
-Monitor Food Quality & Hygiene: Assist in maintaining standards for food preparation, presentation, and hygiene compliance.
-Assist with Inventory & Supplies: Help track stock levels, coordinate with staff on supplies, and minimize wastage.
-Implement Manager's Initiatives: Support the Restaurant Manager in rolling out new processes, promotions, or operational improvements.

Skills and Competencies:
-Team Support & Guidance: Ability to assist, coach, and motivate staff to perform effectively under the Restaurant Manager's direction.
-Operational Assistance: Skilled in supporting daily restaurant operations, maintaining workflow and service standards.
-Customer Service Focus: Committed to delivering positive guest experiences and resolving minor issues efficiently.
-Food Safety & Hygiene Knowledge: Knowledgeable in hygiene, safety, and maintaining consistent food quality.
-Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Able to handle operational challenges, adapt to changing priorities, and assist the manager in implementing solutions.
