Job Description
Key responsibilities:
-Act as a point of contact between company and the transport suppliers to ensure all haulage shipments executed in a timely and cost-effective manner, issues are logged and escalated and resolved timely
-Manage Operation for Delivery & Reverse DSD, MEP/MPL/KA, OPKA, Sea freight, Local and Cross border Interplant), make sure outbound and inbound operations by providing guidance to transporter to ensure customer orders are delivered base on schedule and in full.
-Follow through that deliveries to key account customer are meeting Customer slot time on daily basis.
-Work closely with transporter & planning department for Cross border & interplant truck planning & booking.
-Provide daily deliveries status report to track progress of delivery execution.
-Work with order management, customer on extension of slot time & any service-related issue.
-Manage Operation for Delivery (DSD central & Outstation, MEP/MLP/IKA/Sea freight/ Interplant/Cross border)
-Follow up on the tender acceptance, slot booking & follow through truck arrival until truck delivery to the customer.
-Yard management & truck turnaround control. Escalation to the next level if required.
-Reverse logistic collection coordination, tracking & on floor inspection.
-Ensure all transportation activities comply to KORE RTM requirements
-To implement, , monitor, review QSE program in the area of ownership and escalate for support on QSE risk/incident.
-Process improvement within well-defined processes, driving Kaizen mindset to support changes for efficiency
-Ensure all transportation activities comply to CCBM QEOSH requirements
-To monitor & escalate any HSE related risk/incident to next level.
-Process improvement within well-defined processes.
-Flexible in your job function and perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you, including redeployment to other department/areas if required, in order to meet business demands and guest service needs.
-To follow up on time POD & settlement done by 3PL according to settlement requirement.
-Actively participate in all departmental, company and regional initiative that will be assigned time to including OE initiatives, EJT, MITs and any other project / initiatives that brings benefits to the company.
Requirements:
-Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or similar
-Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience in Logistics
-Operation Knowledge: Knowledgeable in industrial practice and regulation with good relationship with 3PL. Ability to understand costs/benefits of various route to market strategies and support market execution through OTIF cost effective delivery of all products.
-Customer Focus: Making customers (external and internal) and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships; creating and executing plans and solutions in collaboration with the customer
-Service Fulfillment: Knowledge of deliver supplier fulfillment capabilities to meet customer and internal requirements. Ability to build system capability and capacity to ensure service is provided effectively, timely and efficiently.
-Fleet equipment: Understand fleet regulatory compliance, how to manage third part fleet providers and provide RTM with efficient and effective vehicles to maximize their effectiveness in the marketplace
-Fleet safety. Good understanding on industrial requirement on key components of EOSHS which include Driver Management, Vehicle Management, Journey Management and Transport Management with compliance to local RTD regulation.
-Negotiation Skill: Ability to make the opponent understand the core of the requirement and negotiate and persuade them to agree to a term that provides a win-win situation for both.
-Analytical skills: excellent use of Microsoft office, insight into good business processes, ability to complete detailed business case and cost benefit analysis
