About the role

As an R&D Engineer at Mewah Group, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and development within our chemical engineering department. This full-time position is based in our state-of-the-art facility in Pulau Indah, Selangor, Malaysia. You will be responsible for conducting research, developing new products, and optimising existing processes to maintain our competitive edge in the industry.

What you'll be doing

Conducting research and development to identify new product opportunities and improve existing processes

Designing, testing, and evaluating new products and prototypes

Analysing data and generating reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new products and processes

Staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to inform your work

Contributing to the development of intellectual property and patent applications

Providing technical support and training to production and operations teams

What we're looking for

A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field

Proficient in using laboratory equipment, analytical tools, and design software

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices

A passion for innovation and a drive to continuously improve processes and products
