Job Description

🔧 Key Responsibilities
Document Control
-Maintain and manage all controlled documents: SOPs, Work Instructions, Forms, Quality Records, Engineering documents.
-Ensure proper version control, labeling, filing, and archiving of documents.
-Coordinate document routing, approval, and release across departments (Engineering, QA, Production, Warehouse, HR).
-Prepare, format, and review documents, reports, and correspondence.
-Assist with internal audits and documentation checks.

BOM (Bill of Materials) Support
-Update and maintain BOMs as provided by Engineering or NPI teams.
-Ensure correct versioning, revision tracking, and controlled distribution of BOM updates.
-Assist Engineering/Production in checking completeness of BOM items.
-Coordinate BOM release to relevant departments (Production, Purchasing, Warehouse).
-Support data entry into Excel, ERP systems, or internal BOM templates.
-Maintain accuracy of part numbers, descriptions, and revisions.
-Follow up on BOM changes, discrepancies, and missing information.

General Administrative Support
-Handle clerical tasks such as printing, scanning, data entry, scheduling, and record keeping.
-Support cross-department coordination to ensure smooth operations.
-Perform any other administrative tasks assigned by management.

📚 Requirements
-Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business Admin, Office Management, or related fields.
-1–3 years of experience in admin or document control (manufacturing environment is an advantage).
-Basic understanding of manufacturing documents and terminology (BOM, SOP, WI) is a plus.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Good computer literacy: Excel, Word, PDF, and familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
-Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
-Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is added advantage.
