Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supervise and guide floor team leaders, room attendants, and public area attendants in their daily tasks.
· Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance meet hotel standards.
· Assist in organizing daily work schedules, staff deployment and task allocation.
· Support the implementation of housekeeping standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
· Provide training and coaching to new and existing housekeeping staff.
· Handle guest requests, complaints, and special room arrangements in a timely and professional manner.
· Assist in inventory control of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
· Prepare daily inspection reports, handover logs, and housekeeping records.
· Handle housekeeping staff attendance.
· Coordinate with outsource companies regarding foreigners matters.
· Coordinate and follow up with Engineering Team on defect rectification progress, keep defect list updated.
· Coordinate with Front Office Team on VIP room assignment and inspection.
· Prepare and keep track of purchase request list, follow up with Purchasing Department.
· Ensure all staff comply with hotel policies, grooming standards and hygiene practices.


Job Requirements
· Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or Housekeeping Management is a plus.
· At least 2-3 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel environment, with prior team lead experience is preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
· Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and safety standards.
· Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
· Proficient in English and Malay; Mandarin is an advantage.
