Job Description

• Responsible to job change, machine setting, fixture and tools preparation

• To ensure operators running CNC machines according to SOP & work instruction

• Upload and use only latest CNC program in CNC Machine, based on the Tool List

• Conduct machine periodical audit and preventive maintenance

• Troubleshooting

• Identify correct tool, tool length and tool holder, retrieve correct fixture from the fixture rack based on the Tool List

• Ensure the right material/input is used, based on the Process Traveler

• Check products to make sure meet standard requirements before handover to operator for mass production

• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Education Requirements:

• Minimum SPM or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience Level Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in precision machining environment will be preferred



Skills Desired:

• Able to understand/interpret technical drawing

• Able to understand and follow instruction as prescript in the engineering documents, e.g. Process Traveler, Process Routing, Setup Sheet and Inspection Plan.

• Understand and able to operate CNC machine (Fanuc Controller).

• Able to align and install machining fixture, and able to find program zero-point

• Able to use basic measuring instrument, Digital/Vernier Calipers, External micrometer, 3-point micrometer, Dial-indicator, Height gauge, Surface Roughness Tester, Plug / Ring Gage (Thread, Pin), Profile projector, Smart Scope, etc.

• Able to independently do machine set up
