About the Job

We are looking for a Product Designer to design and develop functional, stylish add-ons like lids, handles, carriers, and sleeves that enhance our drinkware. This role involves concept ideation, material selection, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring market-ready products to life. Ideal for a creative problem-solver with a keen eye for design, usability, and market trends.



Responsibilities

Stay updated on the drinkware and lifestyle accessories market, identifying trends, materials, and innovative product opportunities.

Lead and manage the entire product design process for drinkware accessories (e.g., lids, handles, carriers, sleeves, customization elements) from concept to production.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product gaps and customer needs.

Assist with concept ideation, mood board preparation, and trend forecasting to ensure alignment with brand direction.

Create detailed design sketches and technical drawings to guide product development.

Define and provide aesthetic specifications, including color, material, texture, and finish, to ensure consistency with brand identity.

Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to explore material options and feasibility for large-scale production.

Prepare packaging structure and design to create a seamless product experience.

Present design concepts and visual storytelling to internal stakeholders for review and approval.



What You Need To Have

3+ years of experience in product design, industrial design, or fashion accessories design (candidates with more experience may be considered for a Senior Product Designer role).

Bachelor's Degree or above in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Strong sketching and visualization skills, with proficiency in 2D design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Familiarity with materials and manufacturing processes (e.g., plastics, silicone, stainless steel, fabric, or sustainable alternatives).

Hands-on experience in sample and mock-up development to test design feasibility.

Strong aesthetic sense in color, texture, and finishing, with attention to detail.

Ability to analyze customer needs and market trends to develop commercially viable products.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects effectively.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese (preferred for supplier coordination) as you will be working with Chinese counterparts.

Basic knowledge of packaging design and ability to create visual presentations.
