About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and data-savvy finance professional to join our team as Finance Manager. This role will served as the backbone of our Finance transformation journey — leading accurate month-end closing, driving data automation, and ensuring compliance with MFRS and Bursa Malaysia requirements.



What You Will Do

Lead and manage month-end and year-end closing, including journal review, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.

Prepare and review management reports, statutory financial statements, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with MFRS and the Companies Act 2016.

Strengthen internal controls, documentation, and audit readiness to meet PLC governance standards.

Drive finance process improvement and automation using data tools or scripting (e.g. Power Query, SQL, Python, or VBA) to streamline reporting and reconciliation.

Coordinate financial data validation and support ERP-related system enhancements.

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, Group Finance (Korea HQ), and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth reporting and audit cycles.

Provide variance and trend analysis to support business and management reporting.

Supervise, coach, and develop team members in day-to-day GL operations.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.



What You Will Need

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA / CPA qualification or equivalent is an advantage.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or general ledger; candidates from Big 4 or MNC / PLC background are encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of MFRS / IFRS, month-end closing, and statutory reporting.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems; involvement in ERP implementation or migration is a plus.

Data-driven mindset, prior experience working with large datasets and automation tools is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Able to work under tight timelines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
