Job Title: Hardware and Software Asset Specialist

about the job

Oversee the entire journey of hardware and software from initial procurement and deployment through to maintenance and retirement.
Maintain a precise, "single source of truth" for all IT assets by reconciling data across procurement, finance, and technical systems.
Ensure total adherence to licensing agreements and organizational policies while leading both internal and external audit support.
Monitor asset utilization to identify opportunities for cost savings, waste reduction, and better resource allocation.
Develop and continuously improve ITAM (IT Asset Management) standards, policies, and workflows to eliminate operational inefficiencies.
Partner with IT Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Procurement teams to ensure asset data accurately supports service delivery and business planning.



skills and experience required

ITAM Expertise - Proven experience in hardware/software lifecycle management and industry best practices.
Hands-on familiarity with ITAM/ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Snow, or Lansweeper.
Skilled at turning complex asset data into accurate, actionable insights.
High level of precision regarding data integrity and organizational processes.
