What you'll be doing
-Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial records
-Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
-Assist with the preparation of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities as needed
-Provide support and advice to clients on accounting, tax, and bookkeeping matters
-Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and procedures
-Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting

What we're looking for
-Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
-Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and software (SAP System)
-Strong Excel skills (reports, formulas, pivot tables).
-Proficient in financial statement preparation and analysis
-Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and attention to detail skills
-Strong communication and client service orientation
-Familiarity with Malaysian tax legislation and reporting requirements
-Certification in accounting or bookkeeping (e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA) is preferred
