What you'll be doing
-Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, accounts, and statements in compliance with accounting standards and policies
-Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decision-making
-Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of reports and presentations
-Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as the finance team and department heads, to provide financial information and advice
-Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations, standards, and best practices
-Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
-Prepare and manage monthly payments, invoices, and receipts.
-Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
-Assist in audit matters by preparing audit schedules and supporting documents.
-Coordinate with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and banks.
-Support ad-hoc accounting and finance-related assignments assigned by management

What we're looking for
-Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-8+ years of experience in a senior accounting or financial reporting role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
-Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting standards
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
-Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality
-Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
