Major Responsibilities :



Ensure effective implementation of GLP, SHE requirements (HIRAC and EAI conducted) and 5S.

Manage in-coming materials inspection, sensory and ensure effective and accurate status controls being implemented and release updated in the SAP system.

Full participation in implementation of Internal Control Plan for all functions, ensuring equipment/people are being verified for testing results reliability. Conduct yearly sensory panelists qualification.

Manage supplier qualification and supplier assessment through audits and issuance of supplier corrective action report with close follow-up on status.

Manage budget planning and cost savings measures for the expenses in related areas.

Conduct and assist in periodic audits and inspections both internal and external, as per requirements of all quality systems. Must be willing to travel (local & overseas) for audit purposes.

Manage Keeping Quality Test and reference samples storage for all materials as required.

Manage all out-going samples with accurate recording and timely delivery. To conduct sensory for pre shipment samples before sending to customer.

Assist the QA/QC Manager in set-up, preparation and implementation of all quality and food safety management system, management review, 3rd party audits, conducting mock traceability/training and all other QA/QC functions. To be the lead for Kosher certification system. To prepare monthly reporting on FTQ, SCAR, preshipment tracking feedback and other reports as required.

To provide coverage for Microbiologist and Certification System Executive when necessary.

Work with customers/suppliers/authority on quality matters, production trials, labelling compliance for discussion and alignments.

Able to manage a team of lab assistants.

Perform any other job/function that may be assigned by the superior.



Summary of Job Role Requirements :

Degree in Food Technology / Food Science

Knowledge of GLP, ISO, HACCP and GMP

Certificate in Juruanalisis issued by MOH, Malaysia

Minimum 3 years' experience in similar function, PREFERABLY from Food industry
