Job Description

We are seeking experienced Team Lead (Senior Executive) for the Procure-to-Pay (AP) functions to help establish and lead our offshore accounting support services centre. The Team Lead will be responsible for building their respective teams from the ground up, overseeing end-to-end process deliverables, and providing hands-on operational support where required. The ideal candidates will bring strong functional expertise in their respective areas, combined with proven leadership, a solid understanding of financial controls and compliance, and the ability to drive process efficiency, service quality, and continuous improvement.



Key Responsibilities :

Lead and supervise the PTP team handling PR/PO creation, invoice processing, GRN matching, and payment runs.

Allocate and monitor daily workloads, ensuring SLAs, KPIs, and accuracy targets are met.

Resolve escalations related to invoices, mismatches, missing GRNs, price discrepancies, and blocked invoices.

Monitor the process of vendor invoices, staff expense claims, and supplier payments accurately and timely.

Monitor accounts payable aging and follow up on outstanding items.

Monitor preparation of payment runs (cheques, GIRO/online transfers).

Lead monthly closing activities (accruals, reclassifications, reconciliations).

Ensure compliance with internal control policies and statutory requirements.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of payables records for audit purposes.

Attend audit queries and provide necessary schedules/reports when required.

Any related tasks assigned by Superior from time to time.



Job Requirements :

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

3–5 years of relevant experience in PTP (Accounts Payable) processes, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior executive capacity.

Strong working knowledge of end-to-end PTP or OTC processes, including controls, compliance requirements, and service level delivery within a shared services or BPO environment.

Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications, with the ability to analyse data and prepare reports.

Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy, with the ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and operate effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise professionally with clients, internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership capability, including coaching, guiding, and developing team members.

A proactive mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives.
