Key Responsibilities

1. Beverage Preparation & Quality Control
o Prepare coffee/ tea/ wellness beverages/ and/or other drinks according to approved recipes and standards.
o Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and meet REN’s quality and wellness standards.
o Check daily menu availability and communicate with kitchen or supervisor on items not available.


2. Operational Standards & Outlet Cleanliness
o Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of machines, equipment, preparation areas, service counters, dining areas and workstations.
o Ensure correct setup of the café area according to outlet standards.
o Review previous shift log and handover notes for updates or issues.
o Conduct basic daily checks.
o Report any equipment malfunction or maintenance issue promptly.


3. Guest Experience & Service Excellence
o Greet and serve guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
o Ensure prompt service delivery for maximum guest satisfaction.
o Promote repeat business through attentive service and product knowledge.


4. Teamwork & Personal Grooming
o Participate in daily briefings and follow operational instructions.
o Adhere to grooming, hygiene and uniform standards at all times.
o Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service flow.

Requirements

1. Education:
o Minimum SPM, STPM, A-Levels or Certificate in Hospitality/ Food & Beverage or a related field.

2. Experience:
o Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a Barista or in a Food & Beverage service role within the Hospitality industry.
o Experience in wellness, café or hotel environments is an advantage.

3. Skills:
o Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage service standards.
o Basic computer skills and familiarity with Point of Sales (POS) systems.

4. Others :
o Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on operational needs.
o Fluency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia, with good interpersonal skills to assist our guests.
