Costing:

Responsible for cost accounting functions and inventory accounting.

Work with operations team to develop and maintain standard costs for products.

Periodically review and monitor BOM and Routing.

Monitoring production efficiency, eg labor hours, machine hours and idle time.

Proactively analyse various cost to ensure timely identification of variances for cost improvement.

Analyzing costs, pricing and sales result compared to business plans.

Implement procedures and policies for cost accounting.

Perform month end costing close in an accurate and timely manner.

Prepare monthly reporting for product cost, gross margins, inventory report and sales analysis.

Coordinate and perform monthly and annual inventory counts.

Actively review systems, process and automation for continuous attainment of work efficiency.

Assist in fixed assets management, budget, cash flow forecasting and tax computation.

Liaise with auditor, tax agent and government bodies.

To perform any other duties as and when required.

Accounting:

Daily routine on processing payments.

AP matching and posting for PO and non-PO invoice.

AP coding and SST Tax coding.

Monitoring for AP outstanding payments.

Generate and posting sales invoice.

Issuing of Official Receipts when payment received.

Knock off incoming fund.

Prepare Statement of account for customer.

Update cash book on daily basis.

Perform monthly AP and AR closing on timely basis.

Preparation of Bank Reconciliation.

Handling account filing system.

Journal entry and update cheque issued.

Assist in maintenance of fixed assets register.

Assist in budget and cash flow forecasting.

Liaise with auditors, tax agent and government bodies.

Any other duties assigned from time to time by the superior



Requirements:

Degree in Accounting or related field.

Minimum 2 years working experience with cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking and detailed oriented.

Proficiency in Excel and Power Point presentation. SAP/other ERP system knowledge will be an added advantage.

Independent and able to work under minimum supervision.

Committed, responsible and able to work under tight deadlines.

Effectively communicate with all levels including management level.
