Job Description

Business Development Executive – Construction Industry

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive growth, establish strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven ability to generate business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage potential clients, developers, contractors, and industry stakeholders through networking, cold calling, online research, and industry events.

Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with new and existing clients, ensuring trust and satisfaction while maximizing business opportunities.

Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market developments.

Business Strategy & Revenue Growth: Assist in developing and executing targeted strategies to achieve company growth objectives, including tender participation, bid preparations, and contract negotiations.

Project-Based Engagement: Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions for construction projects, offering value-added services and cost-effective strategies.

Presentations & Pitches: Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and cases to potential clients and decision-makers.

Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and marketing, to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements:
Min diploma in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.

Prior experience in business development within the construction or related industries is preferred.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Goal-oriented with a proven track record in achieving business targets.

Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to analyze market trends and customer requirements effectively.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.
