Job Description
What you'll be doing
· Oversee QA team activities in terms of planning, scheduling, work progress, and team engagement
· Maintain, audit, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 and another relevant standard.
· Author, review, and approve standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality records.
· Manage the document control system to ensure all quality documents are current and properly distributed.
· Develop and validate quality control plans and test methods.
· Oversee the investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective/ preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conforming products, customer complaints, and internal deviations.
· Utilize statistical process control (SPC) & statistical quality control (SQC) and data analysis to monitor process stability, capability, and product quality trends.
· Approve the release of finished products, ensuring they meet all specified analytical and quality criteria.
· Oversee the equipment calibration and maintenance program, ensuring all critical instruments are calibrated.
· Review and approve analytical data and certificates of analysis (COA).
· Mentor and provide technical expertise to QA/QC engineer and technicians and other plant personnel on quality principles, procedures, and standards.
· Lead or participate in cross-functional teams for process improvement, new product introduction, and risk assessment.
· Ensure all processes and products meet required 7N grade standards.
· Revise a QC plan for UHP NH4OH and monitor its implementation.
· Monitor Poison License register chemical logs of outgoing products and liaise with local authorities (MoH) for site inspections and audits.
· Prepare and implement corrective and preventive measures for non-conformance products.
· Manage supplier base tasks, including risk assessment, audits, maintaining supplier standards, and supporting internal development.
· Prepare reports to communicate the outcomes of quality activities.
· Maintain lab iso cleanroom class 5 workplace and ensure compliance with legal requirements and other regulations.
· Liaise with government sector authorities regarding Poison License and relevant issues.
· Engage with and respond to customers' QA-related requests and audit.
· Perform other QA-related tasks or ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.
What we're looking for
· Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior quality assurance or engineering role, preferably in a chemical manufacturing or semiconductor environment
· Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline
· In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools and techniques
· Have good knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
· Preferably experience in analysis equipment specifically on gas analysis and its impurities
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes
· Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
· Language requirement: English proficiency required; Korean language skills preferred
