What you'll be doing

Collaborating with project stakeholders to define and execute project scope, timelines, and budgets

Conducting site assessments, soil investigations, and technical analyses to inform project design and feasibility

Developing detailed engineering designs, plans, and specifications for civil and structural components of projects

Overseeing the procurement of materials and equipment, and managing the coordination of construction activities

Ensuring projects are completed in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards

Monitoring project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and providing regular progress updates to stakeholders

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and construction teams, to deliver successful project outcomes

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Civil Engineer, preferably in the infrastructure or construction industry

Proficiency in the use of engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Proficiency in project management and the ability to work under tight deadlines

Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or equivalent professional
