About the role

We are seeking a skilled Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Pullman Kuching. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial records, transactions, and reporting for our growing hospitality business in Kuching, Sarawak. This full-time position offers an opportunity to develop your accounting expertise within a reputable and innovative company.

What you'll be doing

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including invoicing, reconciliations, and journal entries

Process payments and receipts, ensuring timely and efficient handling of financial transactions

Prepare and analyse financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance

Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or financial role, preferably in the hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and software

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proficient in data analysis and report generation

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with local tax regulations and compliance requirements
