The Doorman is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for all guests arriving at the hotel. The role involves assisting guests at the main entrance, opening doors, greeting them courteously, providing directions, assisting with luggage when required, and ensuring smooth traffic flow at the hotel entrance.


Responsibilities

Welcome guests and visitors in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.

Open hotel entrance doors and assist guests entering and leaving the property.

Assist guests with luggage and coordinate with the Bellman/Concierge team when necessary.

Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

Ensure smooth flow of traffic at the entrance by assisting with guest arrivals and departures.

Maintain a neat and polished appearance at all times, upholding hotel grooming standards.

Monitor the entrance area to ensure safety, security, and cleanliness.

Assist with arranging taxis, valet services, and other transportation requests.

Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or requests efficiently and escalate when necessary.

Support the concierge and front office team in delivering excellent guest service.


Qualifications

Minimum SPM or equivalent education.

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physically fit to stand for long periods and assist with luggage.

Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
