What you'll be doing

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, including monitoring progress, managing resources, and addressing any issues that arise

Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution

Reviewing and approving project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Managing project documentation, including reports, timesheets, and invoices

Identifying and mitigating potential risks, and implementing appropriate measures to address them

Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team, and mentoring junior staff as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry, preferably in a similar role

Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, from inception to completion

Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as project management principles and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Familiarity with relevant construction laws, regulations, and safety protocols

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
