What you'll be doing

Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential health, safety and environmental risks

Implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to create a culture of safety on site

Providing training and toolbox talks to educate workers on safe work practices

Investigating and reporting on all incidents, accidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions

Liaising with regulatory authorities and clients to ensure full compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to safety management

Supporting the project team in achieving safety targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

What we're looking for

Possess a valid Certificate of Competency (Yellow Book) for Site Safety Supervisors

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in the construction industry

Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with workers at all levels

Ability to think critically, problem-solve and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in using safety management software and MS Office applications

Passionate about promoting a safe and sustainable work environment
