What you'll be doing

Developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards

Providing training and guidance to site personnel on health, safety, and environmental best practices

Investigating and reporting on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and legislation

Collaborating with project managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to continuously improve safety performance

What we're looking for

Valid Green Book certification as a Safety Health Officer (SHO) in Malaysia

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar health, safety, and environment role within the construction industry

Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with all levels of the organisation

Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in the use of safety management software and data analysis tools

Able to relocate temporarily to Johor and return back to HQ Kuala Lumpur
