What you'll be doing

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards and within specified timelines

Coordinating and supervising teams of tradesmen, technicians and other construction workers

Monitoring progress and quality of work, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise

Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to the project

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Providing training and mentorship to more junior members of the construction team

What we're looking for

Significant experience (minimum 5 years) as a Project Supervisor or Foreperson in the construction industry

Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction methods, materials and equipment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams

Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions on site

Strong organisational and time management skills

Familiarity with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Willingness to work on a contract basis and adapt to changing project requirements
