Job Scope

Transportation Planning and Optimization

Accurate Planning: Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly truck schedules are planned accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with customer requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Fleet Utilization: Drive optimal utilization of the company's fleet and resources, minimizing empty miles and maximizing cost-efficiency.

Route Management: Plan and execute transportation routes using planning tools, considering factors such as time constraints, load requirements, road restrictions, and operational costs.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor and track daily transportation execution against the plan, proactively identifying and resolving deviations, delays, or issues.

Documentation: Ensure all transportation documentation and planning data are accurately recorded and maintained in the designated systems.

Customer, Vendor, and Internal Stakeholder Management

Subcontractor Management: Manage and monitor external subcontractors to ensure their service levels, performance, and fleet capacity are aligned with customer expectations and company standards.

SOP and SLA: Collaborate with internal and external customers to establish, document, and agree upon Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for transportation services and defined service level agreements.

KPI Achievement: Manage the planning function to achieve and maintain committed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for on-time delivery, utilization, and cost control.

Client Relations: Maintain positive and professional communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction with transportation services.

HSSE

Ensure that HSSE guidance is followed by subcontractors and staff

Understand the HSSE policy of the company

Follow the HSSE policy of the company

Report near misses to Manager / Supervisor

Experience

3-5 years in Logistics / Supply Chain

Road transportation experience is a plus

Experience with working across a cross-functional organization
