Operations

Establish organizational framework and procedures for the department of Road Transport

Standardize the processes, SOPs & guidelines, corporate IT-solutions, benchmarks and compliance procedures in line with Head Office specifications and the country requirements to ensure and develop an efficient & sustainable organization structure.

Drive operations excellence, 5S, continuous improvement and best practice sharing.

Quality control of all related activities to the services performed for Road Transport

Establishes efficient communication processes and structures of all related issues/risks to the services performed for Road Transport to monitor the service standards consistently.

Develop customer service protocol, process to align with regional and country management.

Product Development

Support Sales, Air, Ocean and Logistics functions in selling cross-border services by providing expert know-how in sales and tender processes.

Ability to create and tailor relevant business solutions to meet customers requirement.

Cooperate and support colleagues from other departments of the organization and other Business Units in a constructive manner.

Develop success stories and showcases to attract new business opportunities

Support KAM/Sales activities and with attendance on key customer meetings for all Road Transport and Customs Brokerage.

Subcontractor Management

Ensure that the KPIs are being achieved by the subcontractors

Work with suppliers to improve their service if KPIs are not being met

Constantly identifying and sourcing new vendors or business partners to add value to the business.

HSSE

Ensure that HSSE guidance is followed by subcontractors & staff

Understand the HSSE policy of the company

Ensure staff adhere to HSSE guidelines and provide guidance during new implementations

Rectify near misses and report near misses to HSSE

Conduct audits together with HSSE team

Skills Required

Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

Good mix of business and systems knowledge

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written (English); fluency in other Asian languages a plus

Team player with a good working attitude and the ability to learn quickly

Keen eye for process improvement
