Resourceful and supplier contacts for Plastic Material, Frame, Sheet Metal, Cable Assy, Electrical, Mechanical.

Responsible for material planning, inbound logistics, sourcing and development and Purchasing/SCM activity.

Implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy and in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Possesses experienced in Vendor Management, Sourcing strategy and Purchasing strategy to resolve issue.

Able to lead, have experience in Project Management and steer meetings with our Customers and Suppliers. Managing supplier relations and negotiating with local and international suppliers on price, quantity, quality, and trading terms to meet the Company's objective.

Have aggressive attitude to chase & expedite orders with Suppliers.

To monitor suppliers' delivery performance (OTD, Open POs) and manage Quality Performance (QPPM, NCR).

Coordinating with Warehouse and User Department to determine and manage inventory needs prior to purchase.

Collaborate with Planning and Production Control, Quality, Sales and Production teams to meet Co. Sales Target.

Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications. Preparing cost estimates, do cost analysis and managing budgets.

Working together with Purchasing (SCM) team to improve the overall supply chain systems and processes.

Leadership skill and people management skill are required.

Manage new Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, Contracting and Supplier Evaluation process

Represent team for any final data compilation to other departments.

Support product change requests (ECN), review and communicate the impact on PO upon immediate cancellations.

Monitor on SQE COC Tracker & Air shipment tracker to ensure each buyer reps complete the pending tasks.

To perform any ad-hoc task assigned by the HOD or Top Management.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Bachelor Degree/ Master Degree, preferably in Engineering/ Physics/ Mathematics backgrounds.

Minimum 5 years working experience in the related field.

Experience in Project Management and Global Sourcing.

Prefers candidate with SAP/ Epicor system background.

Good communication skills, presentation skills and able to lead the meeting.

Proficient in English, Bahasa Melayu.

Proactive in problem solving, strong negotiation skills, skills in Excel / Powerpoint and with good analytic skills.

Leadership skill, people management skill, soft skills and computer skills are required.

Prepare reports and updates as when required.

Experience with Pivot Table, data filtering, conditional formatting to analyze and visualize data is an added advantage.
