We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounting Executive to join our finance team in a health food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for handling full set of accounts, preparing accurate financial and management reports, maintaining costing schedules for production, and managing stock-related accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, manufacturing costing, and inventory systems.

Requirements

 Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.

3–5 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or

production setting

 Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management systems.

 Good interpersonal & follow-up skill, adaptable and result-oriented

 Self-motivated, positive attitude and able to work independently.

 Proficient in the use of computers (MS. Office and Excel)

 Knowledge in SQL accounting system

 Knowledge in ERP system.

 Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin will be an added

advantage.


Responsibilities

 Overall responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, full set of accounts including AP,

AR, GL and month-end closing.

 Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements.

 Processing AR & AP transactions and reconciliations.

 Perform bank reconciliations.

 Prepare and update costing schedules for products, including material, labour, and

overhead costs.

 Perform stock valuation, monitor stock movements, and reconcile inventory

discrepancies.

 Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and production cost tracking.

 Liaise with production, procurement, and warehouse teams for accurate costing and

stock data.

 Maintaining fixed assets register.

 Ensure proper maintenance and filing to support all accounting entries.

 To liaise with external auditors, tax agent, company secretary, bankers and other

regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all local and statutory requirements.

 To undertake any other ad-hoc assignment or duties assigned.
