What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the on-site construction team, including subcontractors and labourers

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and implementing appropriate safety measures on the construction site

Monitoring the progress of work and identifying any potential issues or delays, and implementing solutions to keep the project on track

Liaising with the Project Manager, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns

Overseeing the quality of work and conducting inspections to ensure that it meets the required standards

Maintaining accurate records, including timesheets, progress reports, and site logs

Providing on-the-job training and support to the construction team, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a site supervisory role within the construction industry

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and the construction team

Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment, as well as relevant health and safety regulations

Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings

Proficient in using construction management software and tools

Relevant qualifications, such as a diploma or degree in Construction Management or a related field, are preferred
