Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and review architectural, structural, and M&E design drawings to ensure constructability, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.

Assist in design development, value engineering, and alternative proposals to optimize cost, time, and buildability.

Liaise closely with external consultants (Architects, C&S, M&E) to resolve design issues and discrepancies.

Review shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions from subcontractors.

Support project and site teams by providing technical clarification and resolving design-related issues during construction.

Ensure designs comply with local authorities’ requirements, relevant codes, standards, and statutory regulations.

Participate in design coordination meetings and contribute technical input during project planning and execution stages.

Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and design records.

Assist in submission processes to authorities when required.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Architectural Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in building construction or design & build projects.

Experience working with main contractors is an added advantage.

Familiar with local authority requirements (BOMBA, DBKL/Local Councils, JKR standards, etc.).

Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing.

Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM will be an added advantage.

Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
