Job Responsibilities

1. Based in outlet and perform phlebotomy on walk-in patients.

2. Check patients personal information and details before collecting specimen.
3. Determine the right venipuncture method based on patient age, health etc.
4. Ensure samples are stored in appropriate containers.
5. Ensure optimal quality and quantity of samples.
6. Label samples correctly and deliver them to laboratory for testing.
7. Ensure sample are dispatched to the laboratory in a timely manner.
8. Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while working.

Qualifications

1. Diploma, Degree or its equivalent.
2. Must possess a valid phlebotomy certification.
3. Proven experience as a phlebotomist preferably in hospital/medical centre.
4. Experience with effective puncture techniques.
5. Able to work during weekends, public holidays when required.
