Job Responsibilities:

Lead civil and structural engineering work across DENSO Malaysia facilities, including design reviews, structural integrity assessments, compliance checks, and technical oversight for repairs, retrofits, and new builds while ensuring contractor safety, quality, and risk mitigation.

Review and approve civil and structural design drawings and calculations for construction projects.

Supervise construction works on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Conduct site inspections and structural integrity assessments during and after construction.

Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for management and regulatory authorities.

Ensure all construction activities comply with local authority regulations and company policies.

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.

Minimum 2 years of civil/structural engineering experience, with hands-on construction project exposure considered an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, structural analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD), project management, site supervision, and technical report writing

Quality oriented with continuous improvement mindset.
