Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
· Briefing and enforcement of safety awareness, importance of wearing proper PPE and working at safe condition.
· To manage the group of former teams to achieve production requirement related to former arrangement.
· Train new staff to be competent in former handling task and preservation practice. Formers outside of plants and warehouse must be labelled with information and placed at designated place, preventing exposure to sunlight and rain.
· To arrange and plan for daily task, ensure smooth workflow while involving removing and plugging in former at production line at safe condition with proper PPE.
· To maintain appropriate reporting, recording, and updating former team activities.
· To arrange former team to identify and remove defective (damaged) former online by replacing good formers at safe condition with proper PPE.
· Ensure all good chain links of the dipping machine are fixed with formers. Plan and communicate with other departments to arrange for replacement of defected main chain.
· Communicate and arrange with other departments to assist on any issues in line, including adhoc.
· To make sure verification of items, tools and equipment received from other departments. To monitor and upkeep former tools and equipment for smooth daily operation.
· To ensure all planned activities to be completed within targeted time while minimizing damaged formers and ensure line verification to be done, recorded, and reported.
· To be able to identify and verify defect gloves and provide assistance.
· To arrange and update duty roster for subordinates and change if required according to urgency.
· To report to superiors for any abnormalities with proposed solutions and ensure follow up.
· Analyse, record and feedback the working method to superior to have continuous improvement.
· To conduct appraisal for the subordinates during probationer period.
· Any other tasks that may be assigned.
DAILY TASKS:
· To discuss, report and follow up with Executive for the daily and adhocs task arrangement.
· To plan, organize and follow up subordinates in carrying out their daily tasks diligently.
· To discuss with GL for the daily task and updating the task and recent issue.
· To ensure 5s, Safety and personal hygiene before starting and during work.
WEEKLY TASKS:
· To train and supervise group leaders and subordinates on all work activities directly or indirectly related to the internal and external departments.
· Provide weekly overview of issues, arrangement, and progress update.
MONTHLY TASKS:
· To train and supervise group leaders and subordinates on all work activities directly or indirectly related to the internal and external departments.
· Review with superior for monthly findings and countermeasures.
Requirements:
Diploma in Engineering or relevant studies preferred.
SPM leavers with some supervisory experience are encouraged to apply. Fresh diploma holders will also be considered.
Good problem solving and communication skills.
Ability to supervise a team of group leaders in carrying out their daily job responsibilities.
Willing to work on rotation shift.
Willing to work at Sepang factory.
