Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Customs & Compliance
Prepare, verify, and submit K1 import declarations for inbound materials and finished goods; ensure correct tariff, values, and duty/tax treatment per LMW/VAA rules
Prepare and reconcile K2 export declarations for APAC drop‑shipments; maintain complete audit trails aligning export records with commercial and intercompany invoices
Manage K9 local delivery documentation for Malaysia customers; coordinate with brokers and ensure no self‑pickup per facility/VAA requirements
Support LMW / VAA license obligations, including monthly K1/K2 reporting and license renewals; liaise with RMCD/Customs officers and submit timely, accurate reports.
Support LMW / VAA annual audit activities
Work with Trade team to update VAA license for new part product launch
Support RMA return shipments from APAC customers
Work with production team to comply with HID scrap process and documentation
Update and review ISO documentation to comply with operational requirements
Shipment Execution
Coordinate daily inbound receiving schedules, outbound pick‑up arrangements, carrier bookings, and shipping documentation (AWB/BOL, commercial invoices, packing lists).
Work cross‑functionally with Warehouse, HK Production Control, Customer Service, Trade Compliance, and Finance to remove blockers and meet customer commit dates.
Plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments in alignment with customer requirements and production schedules.
Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and broker to secure bookings and confirm shipping slots.
Provide daily shipping plans and update stakeholders on shipment status
Prepare and verify shipping documents: Commercial Invoice (CI), Packing List (PL), Airway Bill (AWB), Bill of Lading (BOL)..
Upload and archive all shipping documents in the designated system/server for traceability.
Support and execute RMA inbound and outbound shipment activities and documentation
Performance & Continuous Improvement
Drive OTD and lead time adherence; monitor exceptions, perform root‑cause analysis (logistics, broker delays, consolidation, export approvals), and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate shipping master data and documentation standards; improve cycle times via best‑practice templates and checklists.
Update OAC Dashboard with reasoning code to drive continuous improvement

Education and/or Experience
Min 7 years’ experience in shipping, logistic within Malaysia manufacturing or fulfilment operations. logistics
Hands‑on knowledge of Malaysia Customs forms (K1/K2/K9) and LMW/VAA procedures, including monthly reporting and liaison with RMCD
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, shipping or relevant
Enjoy working in a fast-paced and energetic environment
Ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines.
Language Skills
Ability to effectively communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Ability to write in English.
Computer Skills
Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Working knowledge of Oracle and Agile platforms
Customer Expectations
