Essential Duties

Responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and ongoing support of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and other internally developed software applications in a production environment.

Required to perform software development tasks using Visual Studio and other integrated development environments (IDEs), applying appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and development methodologies in alignment with project requirements.

Required to conduct software validation and verification activities prior to release to ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance with user requirement.

Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, release notes, end-user reference materials and delivering training sessions to end users.

Must be able to accurately track and document development activities, task status, and issue resolution within Jira, while maintaining proper source control practices through structured commits in Git.



Primary Duties

Act as a technical subject matter expert in software programming and data analysis, supporting the local operations team.

Design and develop new software solutions across both frontend and backend components.

Maintain and enhance backend services to ensure system stability and performance.

Optimize and refactor code to improve efficiency, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.

Assist in the development of advanced production reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools



Essential Qualifications

BSc/MSc in Computer Science / Computer Engineering.

Minimum 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Minimum 2 years of experience working on software development.

Main competency in .NET Framework: C#, ASP.NET/Core, Blazor, MVC

Experience in any SQL database



Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a high-tech manufacturing environment that employs MES or any electronic data acquisition system is highly preferred.

Experience working with ERP system and reporting is highly preferred.

Experience working with modern BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau.

Familiar with RESTful API.

Familiar with version control systems such as Git.

Familiar with project and task management tools such as Jira/Confluence.

Good overall knowledge in manufacturing process and performance metrics.

Good data analytical skill.

Ability to communicate effectively in English language verbally and in writing.

Knowledge in network infrastructure, cloud services, virtual machines, and web servers.



Work Environment

Employee works primarily in an office environment, within a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.



Work Requirements

Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.

Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.

Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
