What you’ll do
Responsible to monitor and manage shift operations performance to ensure efficiency and compliance with Safety, Quality & Cost.

Responsible to provide leadership to Supervisors or leaders to resolve shift operation issues.

Responsible to ensure production operations are adequately staffed and trained.

Lead Safety & Quality issue investigation that occurred in shift and ensure timely closure on assigned action plans.

Provide coaching to team Supervisors and leaders on problem solving.

Coordinate across functional departments to ensure smooth execution in shift, know when to escalate issues.

Analyse shift performance to identify area for improvement thru strategic planning.

Responsible to manage work performance, development plans and disciplinary related issues with ER/HR.

Frequently interact & hold meet people session with direct labours to gauge feedback and work on improvement areas.

Manage internal stakeholders and/or cross functional team in resolving matters.

Act as the main contact person in case of an emergency until the responsible site management arrive.

Prepare and submit shift reports detailing shift performance, issues and resolutions.

Who we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, manufacturing or equivalent.

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience as Shift or Operations Manager in Manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of operational processes, efficiency optimization, human factor and organizational behaviour.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset, strong decision maker.

Effective people and stakeholder management skills, collaborative.

Excellent communication in both written and spoken, leadership and people management skills

Ability to lead and develop a high-performance team.

Ability to manage complex situations, work under tight time constraints and effectively work in a cross-matrixed environment

Must be capable of working & stationed inside controlled clean room environment, adhering to all specified gown and personal protective equipment requirements.

Able to work in rotational 12hrs shift pattern.
