Head of Business Development (Merchant Acquirer)

Basic Salary up to MYR 20,000

Location: Kuala Lumpur (Hybrid)

Performance Bonus up to 3 Months.

Job Scope

Define and execute a comprehensive payments strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.

Oversee the development, implementation, and scaling of innovative payment solutions to ensure the seamless operation of our payment systems.

Collaborate with senior leadership to align the payments strategy with broader business goals and market trends.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in payments, including partnerships with financial institutions, fintech companies, and payment processors.

Drive the negotiation and execution of strategic agreements, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the company’s payment ecosystem.

Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of payment professionals, including product managers, engineers, and analysts.

Conduct competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and market gaps, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the payments industry.

Work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer support teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, driving growth and deepening customer loyalty.
