Key Responsibilities


Former Management
Maintain a comprehensive and traceable inventory of formers deployed to production lines to maximize their lifespan and utilization.

Manage the change and replacement of formers (e.g., defective formers, size changes) on the production line.

Monitor and control the movement of formers between the former store and production lines to ensure accurate stock reconciliation.

Production Planning
Coordinate with the Planning Team and/or Factory Manager to plan production activities around preventive maintenance, product changes, former ratio adjustments, and other planned downtime activities.

Review daily production reports to evaluate output (quantity) versus quality performance.

Allocate and prioritize manpower (operators and supervisors) across production floors.

Coordinate daily production requirements with Compounding, Quality Assurance, Laboratory, and Plant Engineering & Maintenance.

Monitor daily production output, former ratio, machine uptime, and line speed against production targets.

Ensure process control parameters comply with specifications and monitor trends via SCADA systems to prevent potential failures.

Raw Materials & Utilities Management
Ensure sufficient raw materials (latex, coagulant, cleaning chemicals) are available to support daily production.

Develop contingency plans with plant facilities in the event of utilities disruptions (e.g., electricity, gas, water).

Glove Quality Management
Liaise with QA to obtain timely production lot test results.

Review glove samples, troubleshoot defects, and determine root causes (physical, dimensional, visual, and barrier defects).

Implement corrective actions to resolve production defects effectively.

Sorting Operations
Monitor sorting output and defect levels prior to QA buyoff.

Ensure gloves used for QA testing are properly dried, sorted, layered, and handled appropriately.

Preventive Maintenance & Modifications
Report issues promptly to PEM for timely corrective actions.

Inspect lines after maintenance to ensure operational readiness before resuming production.

Audits & Customer Visits
Plan and support customer and audit visits in line with audit scope.

Prepare and maintain audit documentation, including Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety & Health, Social Compliance, and environmental standards.

Team Development
Mentor and develop team members to enhance operational competencies.

Manage team performance against KPIs and organizational goals.

Ensure workforce compliance with company policies, including work hours, overtime, and fair treatment.

Others
Perform any other duties assigned by Management.



JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical / Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ hand-on working experience in related field and minimum 2 years at managerial role.

Experience in manufacturing field with ISO compliance and regulatory environment. Experience in autonomous maintenance and leading a technical team will be preferred.
