JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

1. To carry out duty as per SHO regulation 1997 and in compliance with OSH (Amendment) Act 2022

2. Conducting workplace inspection

• Routine inspection related to safety and health.

• Range of inspection covering legal requirements, social compliance, customer requirements such as WRAP and MEDLINE.

3. Training and briefing

• Conduct internal training and briefing to supervisors, leaders and operators on safety and health requirements.

4. Document controller for ISO 45001:2018

• Maintain, review and update documentation related to ISO 45001:2018.

5. Fire System service and maintenance

• Liaise with fire contractor on quarterly basis for service and maintenance.

6. Other administrative task

• PIC for CMMS (work order for PEM), SAP (purchasing system).



JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Qualification:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent in relevant field.

• Experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.

2. Other Personal Capabilities:

• Recognized Safety & Health Officer with valid competency from DOSH.

• Familiar with ISO 45001 documentation as per outlined by standard.

• Strong communication skill to educate employees trough safety trainings.
